Hey, I'm Luke wave and I have a dream...

Well, actually I had a dream would be more accurate. This event is manifestation of that dream into reality.

A few months back, a vision popped into my mind along with a question;

What if I could bringing the best minds in progressive People and PX design together and create an immersive learning experience to break free from the pattern of stale traditional HR conferences? hmm

I thought, “hey, I know some people, maybe I could pull this off”... I fired out a handful of emails to some of my favourite People people with the subject line; “I have a vision... and you’re are in it”.

In the email I shared my vision for this event. Low and behold, the responses came back quickly with an overwhelming, “FUCK YEAH” (or words to that, affect laugh ).

So here we are. The inaugural PX Espresso Live.

Over the past few few weeks, SHRM have proven exactly how needed this is and honestly, we have a similar issue in the UK with CIPD.

The ideal profile of attendee is the People Lead (HoP, CPO etc) in a start-up or scale-up with a headcount of 50-2000. Of course, this is open to all Progressive People practitioners at all stages of career working in companies of all stages and sizes… However, to maximise the learning experience and leverage the specialist experience of the speakers to maximum effect, applications for the Full Immersive Learning Experience will be prioritised on the core criteria of being a People Lead (HoP, CPO etc) in a start-up or scale-up with a headcount of 50-2000 first.

Nope. Sorry! This is an event for People / HR practitioners only. All applications from sales representatives or individuals who aren’t a close match to the intended attendee profile will be rejected. See FAQ “Who is this event for” for more info on the ideal attendee profile. Equally, ticket payments for the PX Espresso Live event on day 3 will be refunded in full and reallocated if brought by individuals outside the Ideal attendee profile.

Yes, we can provide full refunds up to 14 days before the event. Please email luke@sapienx.com to request a refund. We will consider refunds within 14 days of the event on a case by case basis.

We are working on a digital version of the immersive learning experience. We don’t know exactly if/when this will be available… Please stay tuned for more information on this and submit your interest to be notified once this is available.

That's the plan! We are hoping to export this format to other European locations first (Amsterdam is likely… then maybe Berlin). Beyond that, we have our sites set on Austin, TX rock To be in the know, it's best to follow Luke and SapienX on LinkedIn and sign up the weekly PX Espresso newsletter.

Yes, we will provide food and drink (especially coffee!) throughout the event. If you have any dietary restrictions or requirements, please let us know in advance by emailing luke@sapienx.com - You will also have chance to declare special requests in the pre-event attendee questionnaire, however, the earlier we know the better so that we can make every attempt to accommodate special requests and requirements.

Yes, you can transfer your ticket to another qualified attendee. Please email luke@sapienx.com with the details of the new attendee at least 3 days before the event. The new attendee must be a like-for-like swap (i.e a People Practitioner in a similar size and stage organisation).
